Fundament
Advisory – an Edmond de Rothschild REIM company (Fundament) is the
joint venture of the Edmond de Rothschild group focusing on German
residential assets. The senior team sports more than 70 years of
combined experience in the German property market, executing and
managing transactions of more than €5bn. Headquartered in Berlin with
offices in Munich and Frankfurt, Fundament manages more than €500m of
residential assets in German metropole regions for global blue-chip
investors.

Our investment focus lies in identifying
good quality assets with unrealized potential. We unlock this potential
through granular tenant management, re-leasing, refurbishment, extensive
Capex works, and re-developments in a variety of strategies.

returns to our investors at relatively low risk and in doing so, to
ensure a transparent, personalized, and seamless experience that creates
value for all stakeholders at every stage of the value chain and across
the entire transaction life cycle.

Responsibilities

During your
internship, you will be fully integrated into the day-to-day business of
the Acquisitions and Asset management team. Your main tasks will
comprise:

• Evaluation of new opportunities (business model, business plan, etc.)
• Building financial models and conducting valuations
• Preparation of draft presentations for current and prospective projects
• Supporting the due diligence process of new targets
• Benchmarking and industry analysis
• Conducting market research
• Supporting
  our asset management specialists in employing value-maximizing
  strategies for our portfolios Coordination with external providers and
  property managers

Qualification and skills

• A strong interest in finance, real estate, M&A, private equity and related sectors
• Bachelor or master’s students in economics, finance, real estate or a related discipline with outstanding academic performance
• Ability to work within a small and dynamic team
• Strong analytical skills; ability to quickly grasp new tasks and contents
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel (this will be tested)
• Fluency in both German and English
• Previous experience in corporate finance or real estate is an advantage, but not a requirement

The internship is paid market-standard. Well-performing interns have chances to be offered a full-time position with Fundament.
