THE ROLE

Businesses must decarbonize their operations to achieve real climate progress. Some emissions are unavoidable, and that’s where CEEZER comes in.
CEEZER is a platform for CO2 compensation and high-tech removal credits with access to >8,000 climate projects worldwide, verified by globally recognized registries. Transactions take place between corporations and project developers at the source, without any middlemen or hidden fees. CEEZER achieves this by providing scientific quality and pricing insights that help buyers and sellers interact, while allowing them to monitor credits in a balanced, high-quality portfolio.
We are looking for a highly motivated Account Executive (f/d/m). You’ll work closely with our experienced founding team & SVP Business Development in a collaborative, fast-moving, VC-funded startup.

YOUR TASKS

• Help us to create real impact by supporting high-quality carbon credit projects
• Make market analyses and derive actions from academic discussions on the voluntary carbon market
• Attract and support a diverse set of projects globally
• Dive deep into project impact analyses, project materials and data
• Critically question, analyze and improve existing processes. We constantly aim to improve our existing setup with maximum efficiency

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Approaching the final steps of your academic (bachelor/master) career 
• Previous sustainability experience and motivation to join a high-performance environment
• Ability to respond to changing priorities in an evolving business environment and to coordinate multiple projects
• Eagerness to learn from an experienced founding team and senior employees
• Strong solution-finding abilities with new, creative approaches on how to overcome challenges
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Valid German work permit
• Available for 6 months, starting in November
