We are looking for an Intern (m/f/d) for Public & Government Affairs (Strategic Communications) to join our team in Berlin starting in January, April, or June/July 2025 for 6 months.
Are you excited about being closely involved in political decisions? We're looking for colleagues who have a passion for Public & Government Affairs and want to dive into the world of German and international politics. We help companies and associations position current topics on the federal and state political agenda, assess political risks, and find the right contacts.
YOUR TASKS
- Support the consulting teams in the strategic advisory of clients in political communication
- Prepare political monitoring reports and analyses
- Assist in new business processes and internal projects that develop our team and practice further
- Participate in and potentially contribute to internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions
Requirements
We are looking for:
- Excellent academic performance, ideally in political science, economics, or communications-related fields
- Internships or initial practical experience in politics, advocacy, consulting, communications, or corporate communication
- Understanding of and interest in political and economic contexts
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills; flexibility in working on multiple projects simultaneously; initiative and willingness to commit to a dynamic, demanding work environment
- High motivation and enjoyment in working in a collegial, performance-oriented team
- Willingness to learn, curiosity, high attention to quality and responsibility
- Interest (and possibly experience) in using online platforms and social media
- Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written
- Proficiency in common Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Word)
