The Basics
- The internship will start in November 2024.
- The EWOR internship will last three months.
- Since this is an unpaid opportunity, it is especially important to us that you benefit from your internship by acquiring new skills!
At a start-up, every day will look a bit different, but in general, you will:
- Research a wide range of exciting topics related to VCs, investors, general entrepreneurship, and much more.
- Assist with daily administrative tasks, including data entry, document management, and database maintenance.
- Participate in education platform management and help develop a smooth user experience.
- Support our Events Coordinator and Community Manager in planning our largest bi-annual event, the EWOR Connect, and develop strong community relations.
- Prepare and assist in project documentation; enhance the visual appeal and overall presentation of Google Docs, Google Sheets, Canva slides, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Develop engaging, informative, and well-structured educational content that aligns. with our company standards and learning objectives, such as case studies and entrepreneurial courses.
- Assist in attracting top talent to our team by coordinating with recruitment, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Fluent in English (C1 or higher in writing, speaking, and reading).
- Reliable, independent, and well-organised in remote work.
- You are enrolled at a university and studying marketing/media/ communication/linguistics/literature/languages or similar (optional).
- You want to learn more about SEO and content writing.
- Proficiency with Google (GDocs, GSheets, GSlides etc) products.
- Effective communicator who can work with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
- Organised and detail-orientated, with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Comfortable working in a virtual work environment; working independently and as a member of a team.
- Flexibility and independent work-from-home.
- Learning important job-relevant skills (e.g. WordPress, Digital Marketing, etc.) will make it easier for you to start your career and get a handful of experience in content creation and management.
- Workshops related to building your writing and professional skills, leveraging newly emerging AI technologies such as ChatGPT to your advantage, and more.
- You will receive mentorship and feedback from experienced professionals in the field.
