Huawei's Munich Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products.

Huawei Corporate Strategy Department is the advisory organization to company board of directors, general board of directors, and EMT's staff of Huawei. It is responsible for understanding the development trends of the macro environments, industry eco-systems and the demand of associated technologies; identifying uncertainties, risks and major industry opportunities which could affect the company's medium to long-term development and growth and supporting the company's strategic decision-making.

The Department of Standards and Industry Development is a subordinate department under the corporate Strategy Department. It is responsible for setting the company's ecological and industrial development strategy, the implementation of company-level key industry development projects, and as the anchor point to external science and technology cooperation with industry organizations.

Now we are looking for a:

Intern/Working Student Corporate Strategy and Industry Development (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

Assist the supervisor in the planning and implementation of industry and standardization development strategy, insight and eco-system building in the AI, intelligent computing and IOT fields, including (but not limited to):

Support Business Operation

  • Providing Market insights with Team, find key industry development trends and Eco-system development opportunities in the ICT related fields, such as IIOT in Manufacture, car and connect car, chipsets, AI, cloud computing, Block chain and Open source, etc.;
  • Support to Identify the best practices in the ICT&OT fields and assist the supervisor to optimize the planning and implementation of the industrial eco-system strategy and actions.
  • Insight into the key events of the ICT&OT industry and the logic behind the industry development, analyze its impact, and give recommendations for countermeasures.
  • Procurement/finance/project management assistance as well as support with budget eflow and management for workshops and other internal events

Support Team Management

  • Support the key events and some projects activities, actively engaging communication with partners.
  • Entering project reports into the internal online system
  • Assist meeting management (organizing weekly meetings, follow up action point, summarizing meeting minutes)

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer science, AI, machine learning, computing or related subjects.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Love networking, willing to engage new people and building relationships.
  • Ability to think outside of the box.
  • Strong interest in exploring areas outside technologies themselves, but related to business, commercial, strategy, society and beyond.
  • An important prerequisite is a sense of responsibility and an interest in learning.

Your areas of expertise
