Internship: Research & Insights (m/f/d) - Start: April 2025
GHARAGE Vision Hub is looking for an intern for 6 months in the role of a Research & Insights (m/f/d) who is excited about trends, facts and figures and keen on designing the future of travel retail. In your role you will be part of the Vision Hub Team, working closely with Janosch, our Intelligence Lead. By identifying and analyzing emerging trends, new technologies and the key drivers of change you will support us in setting the ground base for strategic decisions.
Tasks- Conduct comprehensive research on industry trends, new technologies, market dynamics, and socio-economic shifts
- Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from various sources to support strategic decision-making and business development initiatives
- Assist in the preparation of research reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and provide recommendations based on research findings
- Create forward-thinking and inspirational content, e.g. in the form of future impulses, blog posts, reports, presentations, what-if scenarios
- Apply research and foresight practices as well as AI tools to make your work more efficient and creative – experimenting with new technologies and innovative approaches
- Stay updated on relevant literature, academic studies, and emerging technologies to enhance the quality and depth of research efforts
- Highly motivated, self-initiative and forward-thinking individual with a creative mindset fostering new ways of thinking and a curious attitude toward new technologies, innovations and change
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Marketing, Innovation Management, Future Studies or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex quantitative as well as qualitative information
- Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Experience with AI tools is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Fluent in English (verbally and in writing)
