Join Automotive Engineering Lab (AEL) as:

Intern: Vehicle Dynamics Controls Design (m/f/d)

Your mission:
  • Research vehicle dynamics control for emerging technologies, such as autonomous vehicles, x-by-wire systems, and electric vehicles (EVs).
  • Design control algorithms for vehicle dynamics systems, including lateral and longitudinal dynamics.
  • Implement control strategies using Model Predictive Control (MPC), PID, or adaptive and robust control techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with experts in the team, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
Your areas of expertise:
  • BSc/Master’s degree in Automotive, Controls, Software, or a related discipline.
  • Profound knowledge in control design for vehicle dynamics systems.
  • Familiarity with vehicle dynamics fundamentals.
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
