The Power Conversion Technology Laboratory within the Huawei’s Nuremberg Research Center is responsible for Advanced Digital Power Technology Research, Architecture Evolution Design and Strategic Technology Planning, and plays an important role in the Huawei Digital Power business in the design and development of power converters and control systems for applications such as PV Solar & Battery Energy Storage Field, Data Centers, Electric Vehicle, and Embedded Power Supply.

Internship in Power Electronics for xPU and HPC Applications (m/f/d)
Your mission
- Focus on production of technical insights about power electronics for xPU and HPC applications.
- Proven experience on research and/or development of high-frequency, high-efficiency high-current power supplies.
- Knowledge about operation, performance, and gate-driver design of high-speed semiconductor (Si and GaN).
- Knowledge about high-frequency, high-current magnetic component design.
- Knowledge about advanced control and modulation schemes for DC-DC converters.
Your areas of expertise
- Currently enrolled as a Master's or Ph.D. student.
- Fluent in written and spoken English (working language). German/Chinese language skills are a plus.
- Good communication skills and multi-cultural environment adaptability.
