EX Venture Academy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Grant Specialist Intern to join our team. This internship will allow you to work closely with our leadership team to identify and secure funding opportunities, contribute to grant writing and reporting, and help ensure our projects are financially supported. If you’re looking for an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of grant management, this is the perfect role for you. The internship is unpaid and will run from June for 4 to 6 months, with potential for future opportunities based on performance.
What You’ll Do:
💼 Research and identify relevant funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and government programs.
✍️ Assist in drafting and submitting compelling grant proposals and applications to secure financial support.
📊 Track and manage grant budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals and project requirements.
📑 Prepare financial reports, progress updates, and ensure compliance with funding regulations and timelines.
💡 Collaborate with the leadership team to strategize and identify funding opportunities for upcoming projects.
🎯 Help ensure smooth communication between funding agencies and internal teams for financial reporting and audits.
What We’re Looking For:
🎓 Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
🧠 Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with financial data, budgets, and spreadsheets.
✍️ Excellent written communication skills with experience in drafting proposals or reports (grant writing experience is a plus).
📊 Familiarity with funding processes, financial regulations, and grant management tools.
💬 Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
🌍 Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a bonus.
