Interpret is a global media, entertainment, and technology insights agency. We work with the biggest brands in entertainment and technology, across video games, movies and television, consumer electronics, social media, and advertising. We are specialists in global consumer insight, with the majority of our engagements involving multiple markets and languages.
The Role
We are seeking a versatile and motivated individual to join our international team in Germany. This position begins as a Market Research Intern for three months or more, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role as an Assistant Research Analyst & Research Coordinator based on performance. The workload distribution will adjust weekly based on project needs, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment.
As an intern, you will be responsible to learn and contribute to all phases of the quantitative and qualitative research process, including:
- Study design, questionnaire development, participant recruitment, and data analysis.
- Quality control for survey programming logic, data tables, and final reports.
- You will also support senior analysts and coordinators on a variety of client projects, and also assist in communication between German and global team members and clients.
Ideal Profile
- You hold a Bachelor's or equivalent qualification preferably in business administration, market research, sociology, psychology, or anthropology. Prior experience in market research or related roles would be ideal.
- You are passionate about gaming, or you are an avid gamer who would love to build your career in this industry.
- Experience with German and international gaming communities would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in English and German (both written and verbal) is required to effectively communicate with German and global team members and clients.
- You have strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- You have hands-on experience working with Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with SPSS is a plus.
- You are detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
- You thrive in remote distributed work environments and work with a strong sense of ownership.
- This is a full-time, flexible role requiring approximately 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend work offset by weekday adjustments.
