By bringing together a diverse array of curators, artists, researchers, art managers, editors, grant writers, cultural managers, and other art workers, AAC creates a dynamic and inclusive platform that supports innovative curatorial practices and collaborative is committed to centralizing essential information about curatorial practices worldwide. Instead of creating a bubble of curators, by the curators, and for the curators, it embraces diverse voices and perspectives from all relevant stakeholders. This platform goes beyond the traditional confines of curatorship as individualistic and hierarchical to a more inclusive, horizontal, and collective envisions itself as the leading platform for curatorial practice, cultivating a vibrant and inclusive global art community. By centralizing information and promoting collaborative efforts, AAC enhances the field of curation and supports the growth and development of art professionals worldwide. Its mission is to overcome barriers and create a cohesive, cooperative network that reflects the rich diversity of the global art world.INTERNSHIP OVERVIEWWe are looking for enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our team and contribute to the development and growth of the AAC platform. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse group of curators, artists, researchers, and cultural managers from around the world. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of curatorial practice and to be part of a global movement that is redefining the boundaries of curation. This is an unpaid internship. The internship does not support any institutional and/or academic credits. RESPONSIBILITIES- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the AAC team, including scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and managing communications.- Community Engagement: Help manage and engage with our online community, including social media platforms and community discussion forums.- Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of virtual events, workshops, and webinars.- Social Media & Digital Marketing: Support managing social media platforms and the AAC website. - Content Creation: Support in design and content creation regarding marketing and promotional purposes.
