Huawei Digital Power is a business unit within Huawei that provides Enterprise & Industry customers, products and solutions like clean power generation, transportation electrification, site power facilities, data center facilities, and embedded power. The Power Conversion Technology Laboratory within Huawei’s Nuremberg Research Center is responsible for Advanced Digital Power Technology Research, Architecture Evolution Design and Strategic Technology Planning, and plays an important role in the Huawei Digital Power business in the design and development of power converters and control systems for applications such as PV Solar & Battery Energy Storage Field, Data Centers, Electric Vehicle, and Embedded Power Supply.

Now we are looking for a:

Intern Operations Assistant (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting platform teams (operation, procurement, compliance, EHS, technical cooperation, admin team, team assistant team, HR) in their support of business.
  • Assist in tracking operational projects and administrative and organizational tasks based on the actual business needs within the Nuremberg Research Center.
  • Organizing internal/external meetings/events/workshops etc.
  • Supporting operational data collection and reporting
  • Assist R&D directors, lab directors, team leaders as well as team members in their operational arrangements
  • Support domestic and international travel arrangements within the department, including handling inquiries like travel request, transportation and accommodation, passport and visa application, local logistics and emergency support.
  • Assist the team members to communicate with finance team for expense declaration, including: expenditure application, secretarial control and acknowledgement, handling inquiries alongside with our financial colleagues, etc.
  • Support the departments daily work, e.g. documentation management and translation, information preparation for weekly or monthly reports, preview and follow up e-flows, assist PPT preparation and data collecting, guests’ visits, office supplies, couriers, etc..

Your areas of expertise

  • Study in the field of cross-cultural communication/foreign language studies/education/psychology/business administration/secretarial (abgeschlosssene Berufsausbildung als Bürokauffrau/Bürokaufmann), or other similar study background
  • Ability to use German, English, Chinese as working languages, both in written and spoken, as well as good communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with team spirit, intercultural awareness for European and Asian culture and openness for an international working environment.
  • Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Service-oriented, approachable, ability to learn quickly and adoptive to a fast working dynamic environment.
  • Good planning and organization skills.
