Tasks

Position Summary

Throughout this three-month unpaid internship/project, the Social Media Assistant will be involved in ensuring and overseeing the day-to-day social media processes.

The Social Media Assistant’s additional duties will be to:

  • Initiate topic selection for content creation while staying sensitive to the criteria of the respective platforms
  • Stay on top of social media trends, with a focus on hot health topics discussed on social media
  • Brainstorm topics and create engaging and informative platform-specific posts
  • Brainstorm, contribute to, and create platform-specific social media campaigns
  • Make sure all content is thoroughly researched and sources utilized are of a scientific nature
  • Collaborate with the company to build and execute a social media strategy for each platform through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Contribute to the creation of a scheduling and publishing plan to ensure a rich and consistent social media presence
  • Contribute to editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Track content ideas posted, to ensure we cover a wide variety of health topics and avoid repetition
  • Stay in touch with our user community through the monitoring of our accounts and stay on top of all public comments and reviews received
  • Conduct thorough hashtag, keyword, SEO, and trend research for the respective social channels
  • Work closely with content creators, copywriters, and our design department to coordinate actions and ensure high-level representation of our brand
  • Efficiently communicate any changes made to or questions relating to content to team members
  • Implement given feedback and ensure an overview of the status of projects is retained
  • Occasionally undertake tasks outside the normal scope of your job or this job post
Requirements

Education:

  • Possessing or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience in Social Media, or any related field

bonus point:

  • Initial experience in start-ups or marketing agencies

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • A passion for social media: Platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn are not only known to you, they are your universe, and you are always up to the latest trends
  • Passion for writing, planning, and creating engaging content based on current trends
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with full professional proficiency in English
  • A thorough understanding of social media management and strategy planning
  • Knowledge of online marketing and an understanding of major marketing channels
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills to ensure effective strategic planning
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet short deadlines
  • Ability to communicate edits and suggestions for edits to team members in a clear and concise manner
  • Affinity for incorporating the company voice and brand into all content
  • Ability to take initiative, and independently complete tasks and projects
  • Constantly positive, professional attitude
  • Keen on learning new writing techniques, with an ability to adapt to different content styles, and likes to explore beyond their comfort zone
  • Ability to offer and receive constructive feedback, and apply any suggested changes from the company efficiently and promptly

Your internet connectivity is sufficiently maintained, allowing you to hold online meetings and accomplish tasks.

Your devices (e.g. laptops and/or smartphones) are sufficiently maintained, allowing you to use these gadgets to accomplish tasks and to communicate with your team.

Location

The location of Solavieve GmbH is Tech Tower, Forum 7 69126 Heidelberg, Germany. However, this position is remote and can be performed from any location.
