About the role  

In order to enable the strong growth of our company, BYD Automotive GmbH （based in Stuttgart) is looking for an HR Intern to join our young, international team with a passion for innovation and a can-do attitude.

As a HR intern you support the HR Department and perform a variety of tasks in the field of general and various functions.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining local sick leave and holiday systems.
• Aid in tracking candidate onboarding preparation materials.
• Support coordination of new employee training and progress tracking.
• Assist in arranging candidate interviews.
• Provide assistance in processing employee work visas and transfers.
• Help maintain various progress tracking sheets related to HR functions.
• Support processing of employee tax benefits.
• Support organizing team building activities.
• Assist in managing local and traveling employee access control systems.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or a master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn HRIS software.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Previous experience or coursework in HR is a plus, but not required.
• Fluent English AND German (at least B2), Chinese is a plus.
• Can do at least 6 months' internship
