The RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated intern to support our portfolio management and operational teams as well as with new investments. This role offers hands-on exposure in particular to strategic portfolio management in the healthcare sector. The internship is based in Frankfurt, Germany, with the opportunity to work closely with senior professionals. Key Responsibilities * Portfolio Management: Work with existing portfolio companies to support strategic growth initiatives. * Presentation & Reporting: Prepare investor reports, presentations, and internal investment memos. * Operational analytics: Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, financial models, data reportings. * Investments: Assist in due diligence processes, including financial, operational, and market assessments. * Finance & Reporting: Apply a comprehensive finance skill set, including controlling and accounting. * Equity Story & Exit Strategies: Define and communicate the company’s equity story while shaping exit strategies to maximize shareholder value.Your Profile * Academic Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. * Experience: Prior experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Strategy Consulting is strongly preferred. * Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, with experience in controlling, accounting, and financial reporting * Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. * Language: Fluent in English and German.
